Petrotec Retail Petroleum Equipment India Private Ltd. plans to strengthen its Procurement Department in Gandhinagar (Gujarat)
We are seeking applications for the position of Procurement Engineer -Mechanical (Gandhinagar)

Education: B.E. Mechanical
Experience: 2-4 Years
Job Location: Gandhinagar (Gujarat)
Role & responsibilities
Based on the forecast, Purchase of mechanical, casting, Brass, and sheet metal items.
Plan as per the Forecast, making a Purchase order and doing the related activities.
Procurement of all kinds of material procurement receipts, Physical inspection, stacking, maintaining the Minimum & maximum level of Critical & fast-moving items, and maintaining all procurement Documents.
Reconciliation of Vendor statement with SAP system & manual
Stock Verification, Analysis of vendor performance & price Variance.
New vendor development, Price negotiation with vendor (cost saving), PO releasing, Material Delivery, and Payment, etc.
Planning for daily consumables material, Billing status, and making the comparative Statement.
Ensure the Quality & Quantity of Material purchased at the site.
Creating Different Reports as required by Management.
Negotiating with the vendors for rate, delivery, and Payment terms.
Tool and die development activities
Maintain Objective files for the given KPI.
Taking the Annual Third-Party Stock confirmation and asset confirmation.
Annual budget plan for activities
Inform Management of long lead time parts well in advance and place an order to receive materials on time, like Electronics items, Investment Casting parts, and Special plastic Material parts.
Follow up with the Account Department for Supplier payment, Debit Note, and supplier ledger confirmation.
Monitoring the back Purchase order report and sending it to the Supplier.
Visiting Supplier Factory for material status, tool Status, and maintaining professional relations.
Maintain a Visual management sheet for the Annual Budget plan.
For new projects, suggesting vendors, helping with negotiating price and time with other departments.
Follow up for rework material to avoid Production stoppage.
Cost-saving initiatives through alternate sourcing, negotiation.
Train a junior Engineer and provide support for planning and procurement.
Controlling the Excess quantity and controlling the Inventory.
Maintaining ISO Documents for the Procurement Department.
Level of Education and Professional Experience:
Higher education, preferably a bachelor's in engineering.
Education: B.E. Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Total Professional Experience: 3+ years in the Procurement department
Language Skills: English, Gujarati, and Hindi
