Summary

We are seeking a Material Handler Team Leader to join our team. Based in Loanhead, this role is vital for ensuring efficient handling and movement of materials within our warehouse, supporting our mission to deliver innovative solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities

Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials efficiently.

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.

Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.

Generate reports or system outputs to assist operational decision‑making.

Assist in process improvements to enhance warehouse operations.

Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals, ensuring accuracy and timely preparation of operations

Maintain accurate documentation for all goods movements

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Support shipping and receiving activities with precision ensuring proper organisation, storage, and rotation of stock.

Handle heavy lifting tasks as required.

Support regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies.

Qualifications

Proven experience in materials handling or warehouse operations.

Valid forklift certification.

Strong mechanical knowledge is preferred.

Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively within a team.

Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks.

Knowledge of logistics and shipping procedures.
