The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing and expanding the customer portfolio in Italy, and driving sales of Petrotec’s solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the commercial plan for the Italian market
Identify new business opportunities and strategic segments
Manage existing accounts and build strong, long-term customer relationships
Promote and sell all Petrotec’s product portfolio, including fuel equipment, EV charging solutions and payment terminals
Prepare proposals, conduct negotiations, and close deals with a focus on profitability
Work closely with internal teams (engineering, technical support, logistics) to ensure a seamless customer experience
Represent Petrotec in trade shows, industry events, and client meetings
Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Provide regular sales activity reports and forecasts
Profile & Requirements:
Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales or business development, preferably in technology, industrial, energy or mobility sectors
Strong customer orientation and results-driven mindset
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work independently
Fluent in Italian (native or professional level) and proficient in English and Germany is a plus too.
Availability to travel frequently within Italy
Availability to travel to Germany too
Proficient in digital tools (CRM systems, Office 365, etc.)
